Please allow us to introduce ourselves. Our family has lived on a beautiful 10-acre farm since 1997. In 2005, God led us to create a “safe place” for hurting children. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, HorsePlay was started.

Our family has dedicated our farm and land for God’s use to reach kids. On our farm we have 13 horses, some pigs, cats and even a dog. Our horses are what led us to create this program. It’s amazing to see how God uses these magnificent animals to teach young people confidence and how to trust again.

Horses have no expectations. They just seem to know when a young person is hurting. Every time a youth comes to our farm, God uses our horses in a mighty way. Sometimes it’s small steps, sometimes big strides.

Our horses are only tools that God uses. God is the only true healer of a broken spirit. He is the only one that can fill those holes that pain and hurt leave behind. When people visit our farm they not only learn about our animals, they learn about God’s tremendous love for us. God is the only way to be “whole” again. Having come from a background of hurt and brokenness, our family has experienced His love directly. We know of His healing and His grace. He has touched our lives in a mighty way, and in turn we want to share with others the healing love of God and His precious son Jesus Christ.
