Horseplay offers a number of different opportunities for youth to get involved. All programs are free of charge to any youth who could benefit.
ONE-ON-ONE HORSEMANSHIP
Youth come once a week for 1 hour sessions and work one-on-one with a volunteer and horse. While learning horsemanship skills, they work on individual goals for the youth.
GROUP SESSIONS
Small groups of youth meet once a week for roughly ten weeks to learn horsemanship skills, build character traits, and apply life lessons. While in a group setting, each youth is matched with a volunteer to help them interact with the horse and process what they are learning. Group availability varies throughout the year.
ONE-TIME VISITS
Individuals or groups can also come for one-time visits.
FARM WORK
Individuals or groups can come to the ranch to help with daily chores and farm maintenance. This can be a one-time opportunity or on a more regular basis.
